Part 259: Lunar Campaign Success

We fulfill our obligation with minimal pain on our part. Success!


Here's the state of the clan. We're in good health and in good spirits! We do have more children than farmers, but we also have a hilarious food surplus. We're also running low on thralls.


I send Varmand to explore the tula because there's still stuff left there, I swear! We just didn't find any of it!




The warriors are back from the campaign against the Lunars. Excitedly, they tell the tale of fighting for clever King Arim, whose magical twin children dropped a range of hills on the enemy. Proudly, they tell of their own valiant exploits in battle, and show off their loot.

_{That's 20 cows worth of loot, for those who are bad at math.}

-Give some of the warriors' loot to the carls.
-Launch a raid against the ducks.
-Recruit additional warriors.
-Reward the warriors with a feast.
-Sacrifice to the war gods.

We should trust more in the abilities of our fighting force. (That means "feast time", apparently.)
We owe our luck to the gods. We must repay them.
So where are all those cows Illator promised us? (Aside from rightfully pointing this out, these two are also for giving some of the loot to the carls.)
