Dungeon Hythloth: Complete solution (Part
2)
Heading back to the second intersection, we go
north.
This puts us in a room with the red
pedestal.
Installing the red Statue Key opens one of the four gates
that are keeping us from leaving this horrible place.
Heading north out of the Red Pedestal room takes us to an
intersection. To the east is a large room flooded with swamp water. Not
the delicious blend of Orange Crush and root beer, but the kind we have to
swim in.
Turning the crank on the wall lowers the water
level.
The yellow Statue Key is on the floor.
We leg it for the doorway in the side of the flooded
area.
This leads us to another tunnel, which quickly fills with
water behind us.
The chest in the next room contains the blue Statue
Key.
Now we swim back through the tunnel to the flooded
area.
Leave the flooded area and continue going straight ahead
until we reach an intersection.
On the left is a Binding Ritual Circle, and on the right
is the Blue Pedestal.
As we approach the Blue Pedestal, an arrow trap activates
above it. These can pretty easily wipe out half of our health, so they're
quite dangerous.
Moving ahead slowly lets us blast it with Lightning Bolt
before it can hit us.
Installing the blue statue opens the second
gate.
Now we head back to the last intersection and proceed
west.
