Part 25
Our next destination is here, just to the north of the Lost City. We're gonna be going in through the back door.
This game loves to make you park all the way on the other side of the world and make you walk to your destination.
We're not actually supposed to be here until around the the beginning of the third act, so the enemies around here are pretty tough.
Some new enemies.
Fritz has become a goddamned beast.
Yup.
The enemies around here are the same as when you were last in the Lost City, so they should pose no threat to you by now.
Although the Yellow encounters have a few tough enemies.
The Gaplants will mainly use their beam guns, So Beam Field is pretty helpful.
Moving on...
Since I don't want to stick around here for long, I'm just going to head straight towards what I came here to get.
Yawn.
Oh, awesome. Bazuli is now an even bigger force of destruction now.
Ah, finally.
Spoilers, we're gonna be building a spaceship in the third act.
And here's what I came here to get! Now we can make a Bawoo.
Might as well finish exploring this path before we leave.
Yikes. These guys might seem like a threat, but...
A double helping of Shot Burst made short work of them.
Oh, cool. It's the Serpent.
Their Double Gatling Gun can hit pretty hard, so Chaff Field can be somewhat useful here.
I somehow managed to overheat one guy, and short circuit the other, so this battle was easy .
For our trouble, we get a nice arm guard.
Later.
I gave the Bawoo to Tremmie, and Bazuli gets the Sandrock.
I'm... not really sure what to think of the Bawoo. It's arms come with built-in weapons, it comes with a free power booster which increases its stats and lets it start off with 2 extra EN during battle, and it's legs ALSO let it start off with an extra bar of EN. It's a great suit, it just doesn't seem like much of a reward for hunting down 50 bits of Data for it.
Gave the Bawoo a new shoulder.
The Gundam Mk. II becomes my latest abomination.
the Bawoo's loadout.
A quick stop to Diggins Rock to upgrade the Bawoo and sell off some of my outdated parts, and I'm off.
You know, I'm feeling rather confident right now, How about we go and take on the Master League?
But first, another optional fight. This one in New Zealand.
I probably could have taken these guys on much earlier.
I completely destroyed these guys.
Our reward for defeating the Big Cannon.
Bring it on!
Our reward for beating the Master League? One of the best hand held weapons in the game.
Our first fight is against three Hizacks.
There's not much worth mentioning against these guys, so let's move on.
Fight number 2: three Asshimars.
Beam field is pretty useful against these guys, since their main attack is their Large Beam Rifle.
They have a ridiculous amount of Armor.
They can also use Gatling Punch, so be careful of that.
Next.
Fight three: 2 Gaplants and a Messala
These guys are somewhat dangerous. Beam Field can help mitigate the worst of their attacks.
Take out the Gaplants first.
...Don't ask me how, but that attack somehow missed Fritz.
Now that there's just one guy left, I took this opportunity to heal my guys up before the final match.
...Unfortunately, before I could destroy the Messala, it gave me a taste of my own medicine.
Dick.
Final battle: Qubeley.
First order of business is to buff up. The Qubeley can hit hard and fast.
Wanna know how much damage a buffed Gatling Fire from the Heavyarms can do to a debuffed Qubeley?
The Qubeley can bust out Sonic Blaster, which is a stronger version of Sonic Storm. Best to defend against it, because I'm not entirely sure if Counter Snipe can stop it.
After I recover from that attack, the Qubeley is swiftly defeated.
The Hyper Mega Launcher is a fantastic weapon, and as much as I would love to give it to Vargas, you can't snipe with it.
For now, I give it to Tremmie.
Next time, I finish up the forts.

Robot Roll Call
ORX-005 Gaplant
First Appearance: Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam
A transformable mobile suit, it's one of the fasted mobile suits constructed during the Zeta era. Unfortunately, it's high acceleration meant that only the toughest of pilots could fly in it, and it was a massive gas guzzler.
PMX-000 Messala
First Appearance: Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam
Another transformable mobile suit, this suit was absolutely brimming with firepower. Almost rivaling that of a space battleship.
MMS-01 (OZ-17MS) Serpent
first appearance: New Mobile Report Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz
A versatile mobile suit created to replace the Leo, the Serpent is a heavily armored mobile suit, with it's armor rivaling that of the Gundams. the only real downside of the Serpent is that it has no hand-to-hand weaponry.
AMX-107 Bawoo
First Appearance: Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ
The Bawoo was the first Zeon-style mobile suit to be able to separate into two different components. It's name is also extremely fun to say.
