Part 42
Well, let's get started.
The second floor is just a room with some chests inside of it.
Inside were 2 Hacking Tools, a Repair Unit SP, and...
A new bazooka!
I went ahead and gave it to Tremmie.
The third floor is similar to the second floor. the door right in front of us will lead back to the first elevator. The other two lead to treasure!
First up is the Beam Glaive.
It's stronger than the Hyper Beam Saber, but since I can't use Giga Crush with spears, I didn't equip it.
The second chest contains a Recovery System III, which will just heal 15% of the equipped unit's HP while it is in the backrow.
The fourth floor is Awesome.
First, Mahdi will lead Katz into an obvious trap.
Then the door will lock behind him before his allies can join him.
And now we're up against 6 groups of enemies.
I am shocked by this development!
Boy, I bet Katz just feels like a complete idiot right now.
In any other game, Mahdi would be a great villian.
She then leaves Katz to his doom.
That's the plan.
Suddenly!
Hal Vizardt out of fucking nowhere!
Now begins one of the most moments in the entire game, Hal and Katz against 6 groups of enemy mobile suits!
Somewhere along the line, Hal got himself a Sazabi.
Hal makes this section a joke, since he can just High Funnel everything into oblivion.
Hal is the best.
Just look at his stats, goddamn.
And once again, we can't alter his equipment.
Hal and Katz proceed to destroy everything in sight!
Once the last enemy falls, the door unlocks.
And Hal leaves just as suddenly as he appeared.
That's not likely to happen anytime soon.
Damn right he did.
Anyway, let's move on.
More corridors filled with enemies that die to stiff breezes.
The chest in the back contained an EN Max.
The only notable thing about this fight was the Barrier Claw, which allowed me to show off the Fin Funnels.
Yes, me.
Me. Me. Me.
Not really much to say about this fight.
She does hit Fritz with a System Crack, which is a better version of System Hack.
Not really.
Well, that was easy.
Some new boosts and an excellent new weapon. Final Impact is a super Giga Crush, and Ultimate Weapon you've seen before.
And then she blows up.
Like it wasn't obvious where he was already.
These two chests contained 2 Hacking Tools and a restorative drink SP.
In here are some chests which contained a restorative drink SP, a Repair Kit SP, and two more hacking tools.
And before I forget, here is the Beam Scissors. It's extremely powerful, but it still carries the downsides of Axe weaponry, namely the high EN cost and large size.
I still gave it to Katz, since it will allow him to get the most out of Giga Crush and Final Impact. It also looks damn cool.
Anyway, eventually we find a ramp that leads up to another floor.
A Re-Gelg. only really showing it off because it's a new suit.
It did give us some bitching new shoulders though.
You don't want to go into this door just yet, continue along the current path since there's a switch you will want to hit at the end of it.
Also, we finally got to a high enough level that Invisible will keep most of the random encounters at bay!
This switch will unlock the fifth floor elevator door.
Back to the door I passed by earlier...
Oh shit.
God, just shut up and fight already!
So yeah, Gabriel.
Gabe is a chump who died in about five turns.
Let's see what Final Impact can do!
Damn, that actually did more damage than Gatling Fire!
later, Gabe.
NOOOOOOOOO!
Whatever, I'll just have to kick your ass even harder next time.
God, I hate this guy.
