Part 42: Bonus: MM25 Artbook
Bonus: MM25 ArtbookNow, way back in 2013 Capcom released a massive artbook for Mega Man's 25th anniversary, covering all the Mega Man and Mega Man X games. Clocking in at over 430 pages, it has exactly 8 of them dedicated to Command Mission.
You can still buy it today! You just have to spend, oh, I dunno...
$150 for a used copy.
Starting off with the Japanese cover art.
And artwork of everyone.
Nana is cute, not gonna lie.
Incentas: Secretly a member of the Yakuza.
And now, a bunch of concept art.
If this looks familiar to you, there's a reason for that!
Some of the art here was in the Sky Room! At least we'll finally have a few of these in English.

Poor Jango, such a nothing character that he gets no concept notes. Hell, if you look closely you can see that the very edges of his hands get cut off. He doesn't even get his full artwork!

Knock-off versions of a robotic boss would be a neat justification for downgrading a boss into a common enemy. Shame that didn't make the cut.

Seriously, Hippopressor got more info than Jango, and he showed up 5 seconds before his boss fight!
Zero got his ass kicked by Swallord Dandylance.

That's seven people that got a work-in-progress name that the writers decided to stick with. Plus whatever
And Great Redips just gets a fancier version of his official art to cap it off.
