Part 117: Ep. 83: The Legacy of Cyrus

: Last time on MySims Agents: A daring remote-controlled-robot undersea expedition meets with success! Now Special Agent Sam awaits TOBOR's return...

TOBOR returns, triumphant! Not one to be left out, Buddy sketches the scene frantically as Sam continues to poke buttons on TOBOR's remote.



Sam is super pleased to see TOBOR!



TOBOR is... not so much.



He hands the map over and immediately leaves. A triumphant Sam turns to Buddy.

: It wasn't the Crown that was hidden on the ship, it was this map!



: Is that handwriting on the back?

: That's the most interesting part. It says, "Ivy, keep this safe. No one knows where the Crown is going!"

While it's never confirmed or denied, I'm reasonably certain that Ivy is the woman who was such a good friend of Cyrus, the mother of Violet and Poppy. Also not mentioned by the game: given that Violet is often presented as being Poppy's surrogate mother figure, Ivy probably died when the ship sank.



... anyway woo hoo!

: We're close now, Buddy. Let's head back to HQ. I'm sure Evelyn will want to hear this.

: And maybe Jenny can find us a guide for the jungle!

And with that, we're done--not only with this mission, but with the beach area as a whole. As rewards we are given more dispatch missions, of course, and... our very own Turkey-On-A-Fork uniform! Glee!



Sam and Buddy head back to HQ. As a reward for... successfully riding the train, I guess, we are given TOBOR's remote control for the trophy case and some kind of unusual suit of armor. We can wear this one!

First things first: let's check in with everybody at HQ.

: Hey Roxie, what do you know about jungle temples?









Roxie's life is terrible. (Also, notice how Sam's last line is misattributed to Roxie. This has happened three or four times now.)

How about Buddy's life?

: Hey Buddy!



Not so terrible. And what does Evelyn have to say?

: Hey Evelyn, how are you?

: We're close, Sam! We have Morcubus on the ropes!

Hooray! Now all we need to do is pile in the jet and follow our map to the long-lost jungle temple!

... in a little bit.

: I need a mission debriefing. What was the result?

: Guess the team saved the Kingdom from Marlon's hairy magical disaster? Doesn't make any sense at all, but whatever. I guess there's a reward involved...

There sure is! Marlon brings us one weird old bed, a bookshelf, and his own self as a 'junior' agent.



Our last uberSim!

: Welcome to the team!



Aw, he's adorable. Sam cheers, stuffs Marlon into the gym, and zips off to try on some clothes.



Here's our suit of armor: a conquistador outfit, just in case we want to do up the jungle ruins Spanish style. I guess Sam does enjoy a little shameless looting and pillaging...







Sam is now an entire Power Rangers' team worth of ninjas.



Also a pirate. Arr.
