Part 46: Dine And Dash

Let's fix up the interior of TOBOR's diner for him. He wants furniture, obviously, and also Tech and Fun stuff, which seems reasonable.

A wall of televisions, a handy garbage can, some canned food and salt and pepper shakers, and fancy hanging wall lamps with two C.L.O.C.K.s between them. Nice.

Sam also extends the counter a bit and adds a little seating. There!

I think Dr. F is booing Alexa, but it's hard to tell. He's defintely booing something.

Our reward is an appliance Scroll! Nice.

WOO HOO! Dr. F's team piles out of the diner, all heading for the launch area.

Damn straight. Sam follows.

Aw, TOBOR, it's like you care.

...
er
You know what? Sam can't be any worse at rockets than you guys. Hand it over.

Fortunately, Rocket Essences grow on trees. A quick round of tree-shaking later...

Can he ever! Sam gets all kinds of rocket bits: a Rocket Booster, a Rocket Capsule, two sizes of Rocket Fin, two kinds of Rocket Midsection (one with little portholes and one without), a Rocket O-Ring--very important--and a Rocket Top.

Anyway, let's get started.

Uh, sure. Anything in specific?

I was gonna say.

Heck yeah!

The base section of the old exploded rocket is still here. Waste not, want not...

It was Sam's intention to stack up a tall Apollo-style rocket, but the game absolutely cannot handle really tall construction.

Here's one of the failed attempts to assemble a tall rocket. No good. After a certain height the pieces simply cannot be lifted on top of the construction any more.

Therefore Sam assembles the Mk. 2 'Mr. Stubby' F-Rocket. It will... probably do. It is probably as good a rocket as can be built by a medieval peasant who herds pigs for a living.
