Part 70: Horror of Horrors

Well, okay, before we get to the top of the hill, there's a chest hidden back here in the thorn bushes with all the creepy glowing eyes.

Scary, Silver, and Voodoo Doll Essences, plus a figure of Violet for our collection.

Anyway. After we tidy that away, we head up the hill--

--and we are being watched.

More evil laughter (and possible flippings-off)!

Down below we crest the hill, unaware of the horrors to come. When we pause to rest:

Goth Boy turns to go...

... then smacks into something and falls over. Oh no! It's the horror!

AAAAAAwait

Goth Boy turns around, much agitated.

ack buddy shh the fourth wall

Especially since that giant billboard is blocking the road to Castle Morcubus.

Aww, a bunny mailbox.

The kindly grandmotherly lady sniffs deeply of that fresh-baked cookie scent before greeting us.

That snaps Buddy out of it in a hurry, and he hurries over to get his cookie from Ruthie.

Just then Yuki wanders in, presumably drawn by the shiny.

I don't think she likes it.

And she bolts for the door.

Goth Boy turns to the rest of us.

Goth Boy hands over some Scrolls. Silver, Gold, and Voodoo Dolls... no problem.

Jade, Dead Wood, and Eyeballs. Also not a problem.

In fact, we already have enough to finish off the first Scroll.

Sam gets access to a Spooky Skull--the same stone skulls that were at Carl's place--a decorative Spike, a Pirate Skull wallhanging, a Monster Fireplace and Fireplace Ledge, and a Gargoyle.
The second Scroll will require a little more work, though. Let's head out.

Yuki is hiding over here between these trees, completely traumatized.

Collecting what we need is simple; it mostly involves running back and forth between the two Eyeball trees, harvesting and watering.

Sam gets a spiky Iron Fence, a Petite Base Block, a Stacked Block Column, a Gothic Patio, a Spooky Pillar, a Gothic Entryway, a Gothic Roof Gargoyle, a Gothic Crenellation--I'm sensing a theme, you guys--a Gothic Door, Gothic Mansard Roofs in both regular and Petite, Gothic Windows in regular, Roof, and Octagon, and some Haunted House Paints.

Let's do this.
