Part 71: Adhering To Spookane's Zoning Laws


First things first: delete almost everything. Sam can make use of this base block once it's painted a more morbid shade, but everything else has to go.

Slightly more interesting shape and some spiky fences.

Add a very Gothic roof. So spiky!

A creepy door with archway and some gloomy paint, and we're set.


Goth Boy takes a look at what Sam has accomplished.

He turns to face us.

Ruthie gives Yuki a cookie. Yuki bites into it like it was a face.



Carl wanders up the path behind us.






Sam and Goth Boy lead the way across the bridge, which leads... into the forecourt of Castle Morcubus itself.


Sam steps forward.







And, with an evil laugh...


"We're the King's Men and we go where we want, including onto private property!"



He laughs at us. Evilly, as is required in his contract.


He's still laughing--




Pause.



Morcubus storms off to the phone.

Sam goes over here to open a hidden chest full of Scary, Eyeballs...

... and another new Scroll. But let's get on with the business at hand.

Sam's not really feeling the need to hurry here. A call to MorcuCorp customer service? It'll take hours!
