Route 44

[Poliwhirl] YOU THERE! HALT!

[Poliwhirl] ...well crap.
Poliwhirl #061

Tadpole Pokémon
Height: 3'03" Weight: 44.1 lbs
Habitat: Freshwater Types: Water
Stage 1: Evolves from Poliwag
Poliwhirl is capable of living in or out of water. Its two legs are well developed. Even though it can live on the ground, it prefers living in water. The surface of Poliwhirl's body is always wet and slick with an oily fluid. Because of this greasy covering, it can easily slip and slide out of the clutches of any enemy in battle. When under attack, it uses its belly spiral to put the foe to sleep, then escapes.

[Poliwhirl] I'm from Akron.

Pile 'o vines; cute yet gross!

Tangela #114

Vine Pokémon
Height: 3'03" Weight: 77.2 lbs
Habitat: Grasslands Types: Grass
Tangela's whole body is swathed with wide vines that are similar to seaweed. It's vines snap off easily if they are grabbed. This happens without pain, allowing it to make a quick getaway. The lost vines are replaced by newly grown vines the very next day. It tangles any moving thing with its vines. Their subtle shaking is ticklish if you get ensnared. During battle, its tentacles are vines are constantly writhing in order to unnerve its opponent rather effectively.

I wonder if you can eat those vines...

IT'S PINK AND FLUFFY!

It licked Yippy and went into convulsions.
Lickitung #108

Licking Pokémon
Height: 3'11" Weight: 144.4 lbs
Habitat: Grasslands Types: Normal
Lickitung's tongue spans almost 6.6 feet (2 metres) and moves more freely than its forelegs. Slathered with a gooey saliva, Lickitung's tongue sticks to anything and can be extended like a chameleon's, so it is very useful tool. The well-developed nerves that run to the very tip, allow the tongue to be very handy. Whenever Lickitung comes across something new, it will unfailingly give it a lick. It does so because it memorizes things by texture and by taste. It is somewhat put off by sour things.

Goldenrod City

It's me!

The sheer biology of where that egg came from is way too worthy.

Well technically shouldn't it belong to- Yeah, ya know what? I'll take that.

National Park

Maybe I can get an Everstone for Yippy.

Metapod #011

Cocoon Pokémon
Height: 2'04" Weight: 21.8 lbs
Habitat: Forests Types: Bug
Stage 1: Evolves from Caterpie
The shell covering this pokémon's body is as hard as an iron slab. Metapod does not move very much. Even though it is encased in a sturdy shell, the body inside is tender. It can't withstand a harsh attack. It stays still because it is preparing its soft innards for evolution inside the hard shell.

Now to look for something better. :I

...crap in a hat.

C'mon, it's a very good Metapod.

Probably not...

My metapod's shinier than hers so-

...crap.

..darnit.

Eh, here Yippy.

It's hard to see, but you can catch a glimpse of Suicune running away at the bottom of the screen. Caught me by surprise because I did not expect Suicune. vv

Route 38

Pretty birdy.

Pidgeotto #017

Bird Pokémon
Height: 3'07" Weight: 66.1 lbs
Habitat: Forests Types: Normal/Flying
Stage 1: Evolves from Pidgey
Pidgeotto claims a large area as its own territory. This pokémon flies around, patrolling its living space. If its territory is violated, it shows no mercy in thoroughly punishing the foe with its sharp claws. It has outstanding vision. However high it flies, it is able to distinguish the movements of its prey. It slowly flies in a circular pattern, all the while keeping a sharp lookout for prey. The claws on its feet are well developed. It can carry prey such as an Exeggcute to its nest over 60 miles away.

vv

CUTE. PINK. COW.

Mmmm, milk.
Miltank #241

Milk Cow Pokémon
Height: 3'11" Weight: 166.4 lbs
Habitat: Grasslands Types: Normal
Miltank gives over five gallons of milk on a daily basis. Its sweet milk is enjoyed by children and grown-ups alike. People who can't drink milk turn it into yogurt and eat it instead. If it has just had a baby, the milk it produces contains much more nutrition than usual. In order to milk a Miltank, one must have a knack for rhythmically pulling up and down on its udders.

Route 39

Sludge Bomb

.....

Darn right it did.

Fuzzy!

I keep catching cuuuute things.
Furret #162

Long Body Pokémon
Height: 5'11" Weight: 72.6 lbs
Habitat: Grasslands Types: Normal
Stage 1: Evolves from Sentret
Furret has a very slim build. When under attack, it can slickly squirm through narrow spaces and get away. In spite of its short limbs, this pokémon is very nimble and fleet. There is no telling where its tail begins. It is adept at hunting Rattata. It makes a nest to suit its long and skinny body. The nest is near-impossible for other pokémon to enter. The deeper the nests go, the more maze-like they become.

Awesomeness incarnate!

:ninjafury:
Farfetch'd #083

Wild Duck Pokémon
Height: 2'07" Weight: 33.1 lbs
Habitat: Grasslands Types: Normal/Flying
Farfetch'd lives where reedy plants grow. Farfetch'd is always seen with a stick from a plant. The stick is used in a fashion much like a metal sword. If anyone tries to disturb where the essential plant sticks grow, it uses its own stick to thwart them. Apparently, there are good sticks and bad sticks. This pokémon has been known to fight with others over sticks. If it eats the plant stick it carries as emergency rations, it runs off in search of a new stick. They are rarely seen, so it's thought their numbers are decreasing. In order to prevent their extinction, more people have made an effort to breed these pokémon.

Ch'Ding's not a bad name, but durnit this one's a classic.

Lake of Rage

Eh?

>*snip*<

Detect

I can't say this isn't a little creepy.

OH GOD I'M SORRY PLEASE DON'T WEAR MY SKIN.

I don't like where this is going.

YIPPY RUN.

Oh.
Hidden Power.

On the way out:

Everytime I see a monster even remotely similar to this, it explodes. :I

Pineco #204

Bagworm Pokémon
Height: 2'00" Weight: 15.9 lbs
Habitat: Forests Types: Bug
Pineco spits out a fluid that it uses to glue tree bark to its body. The fluid hardens when it is exposed to air. Pineco hangs from a tree branch and patiently waits for prey, flying insects, to come along. If the pokémon is disturbed while eating by someone shaking its tree, it drops down to the ground and explodes with no warning. It likes to make its shell thicker by adding layers of tree bark. The additional weight doesn't seem to bother it.

Not explodin on ME.
