Part 23
Let's Play Pokèmon. For reals
Today was the big day. Today was the day I fought the Elite Four, and proved myself to be the ultimate Pokèmon master. It's been a long, and fairly difficult road - but every journey must come to an end. Today, mine does.
I entered the Elite Four's first chamber...
And with just that, we began our battle. First up, Lorelei, the Ice trainer.
The first battle was over with quickly enough. I had lost PrimeRAPE and 8--D at one point, but they were ready to press on shortly after.
I then walked into the next room. While not as cold, it felt just as unwelcoming.
And so it began.
After his crushing defeat (Bruno was cake ), he wouldn't even look at me.
The next chamber felt... different. Like something was off.
Just as I was realizing that I'd be dealing with the dead again, the battle began.
Agatha, unlike the other trainers, had some kind words for me.
She also warned me of what was to come.
Slowly, I made my way though the fabled halls of the Pokèmon League, unsure of what was to happen.
As I entered what I thought was the final room, the doors slammed shut behind me.
Here resided Lance, the master of Dragon Pokèmon.
After his monologue, Lance finally decided it was time to fight. I couldn't have agreed more.
As it turns out, Lance was one tough customer. I had to go through several potions and a revive to beat him, but the deed was finally done.
One step ahead of me. He's always one step ahead. No matter how hard I try, how fast I run, how much I hold down the speed-up button on my emulator, he's always ahead of me. Well this time, I'm sick of it. I'm going to show PIKACHU what I can do.
Okay. This was it. The final showdown between myself and my rival. It was now, or never. Now sounded better to me.
The battle was long, and hard, and phallic, but eventually I came out on top, thanks in no small part to PyramidDeb. As such, she get's the spotlight.
The following segment is the end of the game dialogue. For those of you who care about this sort of thing and are currently playing through the game, I suggest that you don't read it. Though it doesn't matter in the least.
Finally, we reach the Hall of Fame. The place where trainers and Pokèmon alike aspire to reach, after years (read: hours) of hard work.
It was then that the credits began to roll. I'll save you the whole thing and just post the two different pictures that it had along side it, because they're both pretty .
And with that, Ladies and Gentlemen, I would like to say...
I haven't decided if I want to continue this thread or not. On the one hand, it takes up a great deal of time, and it seems everyone hates when these threads go on to the point of people losing interest and quit reading, leading to the thread's demise. On the other hand, there are still a few sidequests to do and legendaries to catch, so if you guys want me to continue, I will. Otherwise, it's been a fun ride while it lasted.
