Part 30: The DLC II
[Music: Prologue to the Adventure ~ Puzzles]
I think I said everything I really need to about this one last time. There's no fancy tricks to it or anything.
This is just pretty simple mathematics, and you are told the speed in still water so that has to be used somehow. It's just a matter of working out how long it takes to get 100m away from the hat and then back again.
For this one you know the answer has to be an even number, so that just leaves figuring out the relatively simple shortcut.
This one, I don't like. The fact that it took me about half an hour to get, and I was sure I had it figured out long before then but didn't are completely unrelated. Honest!
Ah, this... I hate this. Even if you figure out the trick to it from the first few picture clues, it's not that simple. You still have the upwards triangle to deduce which isn't as obvious as it could be.
This is basically just a slightly easier version of that pig pen puzzle from very early in the main game.

Now, here we'll be splitting the remaining handful of DLC puzzles up in a slightly different way than usual.
You'll see what I mean shortly.
1. In order to number six different jerseys, you will need to select six numbers from 0 through 99. Maybe the numbers you're looking for are staring you in the face right now.
1. You'll have a difficult time calculting the answer without rearranging things first. Think about cutting the shape along lines AD and BC. How can you reform this shape to make things easier to understand?
I could try and explain why I dislike this one, but I actually don't! I just sat there bewildered for a few minutes and then got it rather quickly. I guess it's pretty easy for what it's asking or something.
I know what you're thinking, but relax. It's not a sliding puzzle!
1. You can learn a lot by working backward and making your way through the maze starting from the goal. See the three doors that surround the goal? You'll have to open one of those in the end.
Okay, so, the remaining 3 puzzles here are all in the US version only. That's because the last few are... mostly... version exclusive. There's 2 that aren't still, but they're numbered differently on account of the US having one less weekly puzzle.
1. Remember that the race is 100 yards there and back. It's a very important fact, and once you realize its significance, the puzzle is a snap.
Incidentally, this is the only one that's maybe, possibly, slightly difficult, if you misread it or something.
1. Think about how each item is different, and then think about how that could relate to the inscription.
1. Focus on the old man's speech bubble. The letters H through O are lined up in a row. Your answer should be five letters long.
...Really? You're really going there?
