Part 129: Epilogues: The Wizard
Wizard

quote:
Obviously, Nike accepted the position of king, and has done a fairly good job of running the kingdom. He and his wife Katrina also had a little girl almost immediately, which pleased her to no end. Still, he is a wizard, and since he didn’t find running the kingdom to be very much trouble (particularly given Logos’s abilities), he has devoted his time to another project.
Apparently, Nike had been concerned with something throughout his travels, and used the opportunity that came with his new position to research an answer to his problem. With the assistance of his wife, Katrina, the enchanting skills of Shakra, the marketing advice of Erasmus, as well as several new materials specially developed by the scientists of Science Island, his idea began to take shape. When it came time to begin full production, he chose the symbol used by the Glide spell, as he wanted the wearer to feel like he were gliding along as he walked through the endless plains and forests. He wanted to name the product “the Glider,” but he was overruled by his associates.
They named it after him.
