And after a bit of swirling, Raidou is teleported to the DARK REALM OF THE CAPITAL, in Tsukudo Cho. You can telll it is dark because it is not as bright as it was before.

Hey, a huge demon spider thing is threatening the girl with the glasses!

"ha! Looks like they underestimated us. Brian, let's show him what a Devil Summoner is made of. Looks like we will have to smack around this guy before he'll give up the girl, Brian."

Vitality. Summoning demons can be tiring work. Especially when the summoner has to swing a sword and be as physically active as Raidou is. He needs to be able to resist his enemies' hits. He is no pansy ass black mage.




Oh hohoh. Meet Agathion, the newest member of Raidou's demonic crew. He can inspect, finding hidden treasure in the areas Raidou visits, and since Agathion is small, he can squeeze through small openings with the Sneak ability. And one of these is required, anyway.
