Okay, the Dune Giger derail is dealt with, and F3 is more addictive than it should be, but here is another update.
Unfortunately, it is mostly dungeon crawling.

Stupidly, the Karma society keeps sending the lowest of the low, well, not going to complain there.


"TOO BAD I HAVE MY HEEHO RING EQUIPPED!
ICE HAS NO EFFECT ON ME WHATSOEVER. GIVE IT UP!"




Yes, Ice is Serph magic affinity and such, but that DOESN'T mean that he has to use that particular set of skills.
Not when one has a newgameplus file and can just use this, oh yes. Oh yes.



If this wasn't a new game plus, this would have been the first ring change.



"Some Karma Rings have additional bonus effects when equipped!
To equip Karma Rings, simply access them using the item command in the main menu."




No durr.



"If it were an ambush, they would have planned it more effectively."



"I'm worried about Fred, but the others will need an escape route as well.

Goddamnit, Gale, Serph is the leader, not you, if one wants to go down directly, ONE SHOULD BE ABLE TO DO SO.

Then, avancing again.



"Go out and devour those Society jerk-offs!"

With that said, it is time to go down.

Even if the starting dungeons are on the dull side, there are some rather interesting ones later one. Very.



How convenient, a Small Terminal near to where the enemies start to appear.


Even more convenient, signs pointing you to the right direction.

Easily dealt with, though.

Gale can dispatch them with wind spells.

What should be the stats to be focused on the next level ups?




These are always very useful, even with Chakra/Mana Walk or Victory Cry, particularly in boss fights.




There it is. The second switch for this particular door.



Activating it opens the blast gate thing.




Oh boy! Another Small Terminal and a golden container. I want that container's contents.



Enemies can drop plant matter. Greens serve the same purpose Cells had in the first game, things to be sold to ease the mantra grind.



Damnation, it is closed.

Goddamn it, Argilla STILL makes her magic stat become obscene.

That means, it ignores armor! Isn't that awesome?




Not only that, but it misses. A lot.
When it hits, it is an instant critical hit, though.




That makes it all worth it.



Serph could've one-shotted them. Also, in the screenshot, one could see that Gale's leg glyph is shining.




As I said, one often misses.




And Serph's voice is HEARD.


Berserk state is pretty interesting. It is randomly triggered if one enters a random encounter during MAX solar noise.

Shikome is as gross as she was in Nocturne.

A new ring. Have not checked if it provides two copies of the ring.




Oh boy! Two containers! Even better.






Bullets changed and such.





Data works in exactly the same way Noise did in the first one. That being said, all will be used on Serph. ALL.




Berserked Serph approves of that decision.





Gun combos are considerably more useful in this one. They are also cool looking, in my opinion.





That could've been more effective.



But as humans, they have a nice magic resistance/no elemental weakness.




In Serph's Crossfire, he shoots at the enemy, gangsta style. That obviously changes if the attack is chosen by ANOTHER party member.





And now SIX skills can be set, which is pretty awesome, you know?



Took a while, but these two mainstays can be added.




Omnomnom, and such.



Reaching yet another small terminal seems like a good place to stop this one.
