Who is not surprised by the game's selection of stat upgrades? I am not!

This particular floor is kind of sparse.

Why couldn't they have made a SINGLE elevator that went all the way up? Or at least connect the floors with flights of stairs.
That is just not a very safe design.


Roland is probably the most well-rounded character in terms of stat progression.
Of course, with Noise/Data farming, one could shape the character's stat growth into anything one wants, but that is pretty much limited to the endgame scenario.
And that is why Item Find is useful.



Cielo's luck should be higher.



Eh, these can always be sold later. Magic is a better option than these once you get a passive magic recovery skill.
Can be useful in the middle of a fight, though.


Those regulations must be VERY lax.



And a trap. Not as bad as others, since the party is kind of overpowered at this point.


Divine Light dealt with them.


This one is the real deal, one can tell due to the message in the top right.



Gale still has MORE luck than Cielo. That is all sorts of wrong.



Plants, plants, plants. Not enough money on that one to get Serph a new mantra, especially since the cheapest one available for him is 100k.

I never understood why all the Asuras are digitigrade. The lack of eyes is kind of creepy, too.

Roland's mantra grid is kind of underdeveloped. That must be rectified.



If anything, Tarunda will be a useful skill.

Too bad Marin Karin is not as abusable as it was on SMT 1 and 2.
Same deal with the charm bullets.




Argilla gets the same cheap-o one Roland did.



Cielo deserves something more substantial, though.
Recarm is the resurrection spell. It is quite useful, until one gets the reusable revive item.



The layout of the floor is kind of interesting, isn't it?



The game has been fairly generous with these lately.


And since Roland's mantra was cheap...







This must be some sort of archives room.


It contains something better than files, though.

A life terminal. There are so far two of those in the place.




This one must be kind of repetitive.

More stones! When enough have been acquired, it will be time to break the ones inside the rings to replace them.
When you reset the ring, every stone in is gets destroyed. No recycling there.



Unlike what I saw in Baldur's Gate 2, Rakshasas are not shapeshifting tiger furries.
Also, I should replay Baldur's Gate 2 one day. But this time not with a bard. Nope.

A new Small Terminal. Seems like a good place to stop this update, I'd say.



A slightly less cheap mantra should last for a bit more.
