Update 48: The Red Temple.


The Red Temple is the second most annoying temple in the Amala Temple area. It is not a teleporty dungeon, so it is less annoying than the White One, butit has some nasty gimmicks of its own. Still, not teleporty.
Since darkness is laughable in Nocturne (unlike the previous two SMT games), the Black Temple is the easiest and least annoying dungeon in the area.


That being said, let's see what is in THERE.



Looks more brown than red to me. But what the hell do I know?


"She sucks the blood of intruders in her World of Shadows. Beware the shadows..."
That's the gimmick of this particular dungeon.



"Let me outta the world of Shadows! It's full of traps! Ow! Light gets me out... B-but where is it?"
Not full of traps. Full of poisonfloor, actually.




See? There are two different areas there. Light and shadow. When one steps in a shadow, this happens.





OH GOD EVIL HANDS OUT OF NOWHERE





Dragged into the World of Shadows. The walls move. It is neat.




"Too bad."




That's the plan.






Would be more appropriate if Kali was the one in charge of this temple. She isn't.

Choronzon was quite different in The Sandman. I should reread that comic.

To pass this, one needs to go through here. Any other entrance will get you to the WORLD OF SHADOWS.



Goin' up.





One needs to pass THROUGH the shadows to get upstairs. Duh.
