We're keeping this quiet, so be careful with this information. Yes, Cristavi has arranged to allow Nikoladze into the Presidential Palace. It will happen tonight shortly after midnight. Nikoladze is giving Cristavi a sizeable sum of money, along with some near-priceless oil drilling data from the Caspian, in exchange for Cristavi letting Nikoladze retrieve 'the Ark' from the palace unmolested.

Nikoladze claimed that the Ark is a 'dirty bomb,' but Cristavi has learned different. I'm betting he won't let Nikoladze walk out of the palace with the Ark in hand. Hard to say. My advice: keep you head low around midnight tonight.

Making a play for the Ark is a huge risk, especially considering our relationship with the CIA. We will never know how closely they are watching us or what they know already. Tanahill asked a less- than-subtle question about the Ark. I wouldn't bet that they know what it is, but I'm sure it has their interest. It makes me nervous.

I know what you would say: 'It's your job to be nervous.' But please do not underestimate our enemies. As an initial security precaution, I'm having some of the doorcodes changed. If you want to get into your library, the code is now 66768. I'm also enforcing our normal palace guards with members of your elite.

In your mail you wrote rather cryptically about giving Nikoladze 'more than his bargain.' What did you mean?
