Operation Mange Poutine: Canadian Turn 1

bunnyofdoom wanted me to screencap his advance, so here it is!

The Greeks have advanced pretty far for just one turn. I'm a bit concerned about having the lighter armour out in the open like this. Obviously this will need to be changed at some point in the next few turns. Especially given the likelihood that the opposition will be pulling off an armoured offensive.

On top of ordering up Urcinius' mortar strikes on the Stinger positions, I have ordered my own fighters to engage the enemy now that their vulnerability to airstrikes has been both

A)Revealed and
B)Extended

by the Turkish SEAD strikes. Hopefully the use of CF-18s will be similarly successful.

I'm quite impressed with the distance travelled by the Turkish airmobile forces. Are you sure they're safe all the way up their, Urcinius?

Frontline movement is going along fairly well, but it is also pretty straightforward at this point.

We also fire a bit of counterbattery fire at the enemy at the end of the turn for some reason. A bit random, but I'm not complaining.

So far, no activity detected from the enemy, other than explosions.

My thoughts so far:

Our battle line is fairly solid, with the only two gaps occupied by advances from the Turkish helicopter and airmobile forces.

My one chief concern is that an enemy attack to the south overwhelms the Greek Armour and Canadian reserves stationed there. My recommendation is that we make every effort to keep our southern forces secure and our northern forces flexible.
