November Cod Crisis: Scandanavian Turn 5

Once again, Sam. has spent the entire turn randomly firing as many bullets as possible so, once again, I must present an After-Action Report instead of a chronological summary.

Also: Sam. If you ever read this, I'm wondering if running out of ammo was ever a problem for you in this match.

Our northern infantry group has gone unattacked so far, but some of the bombardment attacks have come from the northeast (of the western group), so moving too far to the east could be hazardous for this force. However, it could also be beneficial depending on whether we see the enemy first, or they see us first.

The eastern force has come under minor fire with no casualties to speak of. One of the Danish rifle sections has revealed itself by firing suppressive fire into the forest. Our sniper pinned it in retaliation, so neutralising it should be easy.

The pillbox to the south of the western force is a smaller concern now that we're consolidating, but it is still a legitimate threat to the group.

The only real threat to us right now is the Centurion MkV. It routed another section this turn. Fortunately, they can't run offscreen, so rallying them should be simple enough, but the tank is still the only units doing any real damage to our force.

Also, our PT boats routed the inhabitants of one of the Panzer III turrets. I wonder, is it possible to capture a deserted vehicle/structure in this game?

As for our tactics, we need to decide where the northern and eastern forces are going. I suppose they can blindly head for the western force and link up with it, but I like to think we can come up with something better than that. Suggestions?
