Part 8: Bridge of Light
Last time on Tales of EterniaWe entered Efreet Gorge in hopes of finding the fire craymel.
We reached the big man himself and BOY WAS HE PISSED!!
We commune with Rem, the governing craymel of Light. Although she will not stop the Grand Fall, she does give us the Sorcerer's Ring, which enables us to solve dungeon puzzles wherever they come up.
Which leads us to...
Part 1 (Disc 1 Wrapup): [YOUTUBE] (~17 minutes)
Part 2 (Mt. Farlos): [YOUTUBE] (~32 minutes DANG)
We go around the world doing the sidequests we missed. Once we're done dicking around, it's time to go mountain climbing! The Bridge of Light is up there, so don't worry Reid, it's just a little farther! Once we've sent Meredy back home, we're all done!
Lens Found: 26. The one at the top of the mountain totally slipped our mind, so we'll go back and get it later.
Optional extra: Ras Live
Boss Time!
Ras is a really easy boss fight, despite being the last boss of disc 1. His attacks are all close-range and 3/4 of them are prett weak. Yeah, that's right, he only has four moves, and they hit like Reid's - close-range and only good for pickong on people right beside him.
His defense is sky-high which makes him almost impossible to hurt with your attacks - your main source of damage will be spellcasting. Fortunately, as long as the fighters stay in his face he will never ever address your casters, and thus will completely ignore the primary source of his damage.
Neo Swarm is shit, Super Lightning Blade is shittier, Dragon Swarm is weaksauce. Dragon Flash is his most damaging attack, but even then you're pretty secure in your victory since he will never attack your casters anyway. All-in-all, occupy him and stall until he gets crushed by your Eruptions and Spreads.
