Given that the next map is a total joke in light of our new recruit I opted for a double update. Anyway given that a sandstorm occupies our way back to Salia we might as well go after Krishna.
This map is called the Legendary Swordsman
: What is that?
: I’m not sure… but it’s said that inside the village of Yr, there was a prison and a tower with five floors. It seems that this was the tower where the Great Priest Moses lived. : Aah.. so it’s Moses’ tower. I heard the story from Priest Law. I see this means the Guardian is the protector of the demon beasts. Do you know why they got out?How should he know when he was traveling with you?
:Aah… Moses’ abscenes might be the reason. However they are just target practice for my dad. They’re nothing to worry about. : Hmph.. then should we help? : It’s alright. If you but in, my old man’s going to be pissed. Let’s go back to the pavillion first.
Anyway the opponents this time is an assortment of monsters we faced in random encounters mostly. We even get supported by a bunch of Myrmidons as well. Still we are going to take the apocalyptic option. As you may remember Renee has the Evil-Slaying staff which kills monsters instantly up to the number of her magic score. Let’s take that thing for a ride shall we?

Now for a quick application of dance + warp and we’re done with the map.
: I’m fine as always. Seems not much has changed foe you either old man.
: Pretty much. Although the Imperial Army has attacked several times, it doesn’t change that the’re small fries. They came, they fought, they ran away.
: Hmph… Same old dad, anyone who fights you would do the same. Julia what’s up? You’re as shy as a lamb. Stop hiding in the corner and come here.
: I’m sorry! : Hmph.. alright already. I’ll forgive you about leaving the island without a word. : Really? : Yeah. You’re already an adult. You can choose your own path. : Thank you very much! : Are you a mercenary now? Has your skill with the blade improved? : Yes I think it has… although I still can’t compare to Shigen. Maybe I’m not fit to be a swordsman. : Hmm.. it’s been a long time since I sparred with you. Let’s go out. : Ok!
we are treated to a sparring sequence where Yoda utterly destroys Julia (although if regular mechanics applied she would have died several times over

: You release all your power in an instant and let it flow from your sowrd continuously. If you are my daughter you’ll be able to do it for sure. You must have the mindset of “do or die!” : Y-Yes!
The obliberation continues, but as a last ditch effort Julia manages to scratch Yoda in the end.
: I will not lose again. This sword is my pride. I will live my life as a swordsman. Father, thank you for everything. : Julia remember, the sword is meant for a person to use it. Don’t fear it and instead believe in it… put you entire heart into it! : Yes father! : Hey old man, seems like Julia has grown up a little. : Yeah, but she hasn’t grown up completely. Though I think she is falling for you. But anyway, what about you Shigen? : No, not yet at least. I still have a large task ahead of me. : Is this about Karla? Do you still want to settle it by yourself? : Yes. That woman abandoned me and my dad and degraded herself to be the Emperor’s woman. I will never forgive her. : …Now a show of hands please. Who remembers Karla? For those that don’t she is Zieg’s sister and as revealed here Shigen’s real mother. One more connection for our imaginary family tree.
: Sorry about that. Old man I’ll be going now. : Wait Shigen. Since the Empire’S army is gone now and peace has returned here I think I’ll go traveling as well. Don’t you want me to come with you? : Geh... Yoda. Are you serious? : What Holmes you don’t want me to come? : No it’s alright if you want to come along. Hey Shigen.. it’s fine, right? : …

Yoda is basically your fall back swordsmaster. He is amazing in his own right and can easily replace any member on your team. Still with a bit of luck all your swordsmaster can outperform him especially since all of them have special swords. Yoda is as RNG proof as they come with him already being maxed at lvl 30 and given his growths he is not really worth a Super Proof. Really you are only not going to use him if you a) either hate swordmaster or b) were exceptionally lucky with your units.
