Part 24: Intermission 4. Soundtrack- part 1
Intermission 4The sound of the Apocalypse - part one.
Today I want to show you the first half of the soundtrack, but I can't give the songs for Dl as that would be
Overall it's quite nice and atmospheric. I'm a pretty big music nerd and I'd say it's better than you probably would expect. But the in-game cues are kinda wonky sometimes, especially when changing between battle and background music.
I already posted the theme before, but for the sake of order I'll repost it. I still think that it's pretty cool and worth a listen.
This is a background track for several maps. Kinda chill but also a bit haunting.
This track plays when you travel on the worldmap. It's actually one of my favourites. You just have to love the flutes and the overall arrangement.
Another background track and it's one of the better ones. Kinda epic in nature.
This is the background track for an area we will see late in the game. It's pretty cool with a jungle theme and kickass oriental voices/touches.
A different type of background track. Maps have a track selection roughly based on their composition. This one is industrial themed.
This is an orchestral type background track. It's kinda sad.
Another background. This one makes me think of Native Americans and has some ghostly whispering in it. Also a crying baby.
This background starts of eerie and gives the impression of a windy desert. It mellows in the middle and ends on a surprisingly high note.
The first of the battle backgrounds. Lot's of big drums and percussions in this one. It has tension to it and makes me think of primal warriors.
Another battle track. It's a bit similar to the first one but has more tempo/drive to it.
More battle! This one has a good tempo going and makes me think of India or some martial arts action.
Authors note: I originally wanted to give you something with more content but I suffered a minor injury during my workout today. So I'm not too keen on sitting at the moment. Let's hope it won't delay the next update.
