Part 33: Turn 36 - 5th March 1944







The airborne are forced to retreat.



Mostly they try and cover the line – and it's looking pretty thin out there!








Poor weather, the RAF get out there, but the 8th Airforce stay home this week.






We get moving.



This is going to be tough to open up any large holes this week, the infantry need to move up.



Time to go for the coast.



I start to man my flanks with brigades, but they are facing regiments, so I can hold.



As is required, I end up one hex short.



The Poles cannot advance, so I have to settle on bringing up support.



“Settle.”



A less flashy turn, but sometimes you need to consolidate those gains.



The race to Berlin is on.
