War in the West

Part 64: Turn 67 - 7th October 1944

Just a quick up, I had to rerun the previous turn due to a dodgy save, but it should be mostly the same.

The French hold against counter attacks.

Hopefully there will be less cities to bomb soon!

My men cross the Seine in two places.

I continue to push north – the aim now is to cut off as much of the German army as I can in France.

I race across the Danube and begin to hook around Stuttgart.

The Paras land, and the newly arrived 9th army secure the other side of the Ferries.

The actual fighting continues further south.

It's time to break out once more.

We've got some guys to the south we want to meet.

Oh dear, they seem to be coming apart.

The garrison of Essen begin to surrender.

Mawah ha ha!

With breakthroughs to the north and the south, next turn is going to be interesting.

Double checks save has worked...
