Introduction

Blair Witch Volume 1: Rustin Parr

quote:

Rustin Parr was 38 years old in 1941. He had lived in Frederick County, Maryland all his life.

He didn't go to school much. Both his parents were dead before he was 10 years old. That's when Rustin moved to Burkittsville to live with his aunt and uncle. His uncle was pretty abusive but he was a carpenter, and he taught Rustin everything he knew. He liked Burkittsville a lot. The woods that surrounded the town were great to get away from everyone and be by himself. He always liked to be by himself.

That's why it wasn't much of a surprise when Rustin decided to build a house up in the hillside, a four-hour walk from town. He was in his early twenties and it took him almost five years to finish the house. It was a beautiful, three-story home next to a creek. Rustin continued to work at his uncle's shop for a few more years, but little by little he began to come into town less and less. Then his aunt died and his uncle moved to Baltimore. There wasn't much of a reason to go back anymore.

He lived in that house ever since. He lived a peaceful life, smoking his pipe and taking long walks in the woods. Rustin was happy. He loved nature and the animals all around him. He only went into town about twice a year to pick up supplies.

This was Rustin Parrs rather nice and serene life, while only making it into town twice a year, he still made many friends in the small town of Burkittsville. So it was a shock in November of 1940, he heard the voice of a old woman, who insisted he bring children to his home. His solitude was his down bringing, he tried to resist, but with no support or friends nearby, he was easily swayed to do this old womans bidding. He took two of the children at a time into his basement, one would face the corner, while he would disembowel the other. Until he got to Kyle Brody, the only surviving child, he mysteriously let loose and later that day turned himself into the sheriffs office. Ultimately 8 children abducted, 7 died.

There was a long standing story of a Witch in Burkittsville who haunted the woods that Parr lived in and it wasn't long before gossip turned to the Blair Witch. So the super duper secret organization the Spook House was called in to investigate.

Why this and not, say, SIN?
Ritual died for our SIN:Episodes and some of their team went to Terminal Reality. I'm also waiting for the fan source port of SIN, so you get a game horrible enough that no one should have to play it.

I had to choose subtitles for this game to be honest, I tried doing voice and no good comes from it (and had to do video recording off base ). But I enjoyed it more than I should of, just to play the game and put a small amount of effort into post, was alot less frustrating than fiddling with after effects. Also, if someone has erotic pictures of the Blair witch, post them so I can fill my 2007 quota and get this thread closed for a few days.

(All Journal Entries and etc will be placed at the end of the video)
