Part 47: Day 45 - Fighting entropy

Day 45- Fighting entropy

Yuri is already at 99 cooking skill, so I decide to put his 6 skillpoints into discussion. This will make it easier to keep his depression down, and hopefully it will help iron out his strange nightly proverbs.

We need to do some maintenance around camp, so let's see what we can patch up with what we have on hand.

This should be enough for a little while.

We are running out of wood, so we cannot fix the resting area all the way.

We need some more wood for the fire, so let's go chop down some of those useless trees out in the jungle.

The fig trees we found before can be used for fruit, so we will cut down this spent hollow tree.

We need a lot of strength for this, so Julia is benched in favor of her husband.

He does take a good chunk of damage from the native wildlife, so we will not be able to send him out too often.

We get a decent amount of wood from it, so it may have been worth it.

We can use some of that wood to finish fixing the resting area.

That should be enough to fix our fatigue for a while, so we can use the rest of the wood for fuel.

It looks like the repairs worked. This should make a nice meal for tonight.

With the rope that we gathered, we can fix up the gathering tools so that we can get more materials tomorrow.

That will need to suffice for now.

If we get bad results fishing, we may use this as a source of exotic (but hopefully edible) meat.


That was a nice bonus, but it comes before the daily hunger from today is added on, so we still need to feed everyone today.

The cookpot is starting to deteriorate, so even chef Yuri is not able to make much out of the fish we got today. It is enough to feed everyone, but we will need to address it soon.

Current Status:

All of that adventuring out in the jungle has started to wear on our crew. We will need to be careful about who we send out from now on.

Current Goals:

We did not get any work done on the infirmary today, so we will need to get back on that tomorrow.

We will also need to fix the cookpot, so that will mean scavenging up some stone in the morning.
