So, the reactor room really isn't as bad as I made it out to be in the video, but it's not exactly something you want to go into and spend your time clearing out completely like I did in the last video. Here, I recommend using the phoenix cannon to open up the locked door to get a cloaking device and invulnerability charge before dealing with the reactor and its robot generators. There's more than enough time to come back and rescue the hostages after the reactor is destroyed.
