Part 53: Finath River

She may not hit as hard as she did while a Geomancer, due to the lower PA and 16 WP being a bit weaker than 13 WP + elemental boost, but the Holy Knight has damn good HP.

Stocking up on supplies. Starting the journey in early December is a horrid idea.

We've got:

1 Wagon
2 Spare Wheels
2 Spare Axles
1 Spare Tongue
99 X-Potions
300 pounds of food
1 Mythril gun
1,000 bullets
1 Blaze gun
500 magic bullets
1 Tiamat
1 King Behemoth
1 Wildbow
1 Holy Dragon

I think we're ready for a bit of travel.

Frigid waters? Great depths? We're gonna FORD THIS SHIT!

Finath River's battle is a random selection of Chocobos. There may be a lot of Red which is likely to result in horrible death. Here, there's 1 red and 1 black. I got lucky.

A Uribo has a chance to spawn here, if you missed the ones in Zigolis Swamp and Goland.

Should've caulked the wagon you nimrod.

If this happens a lot, this battle is hard. If it happens little, it's easy. If it happens none, you can just hammer on circle and still win.

Thankfully Ramza is good with a spear so he jumps on the Red Chocobo before it can get a second turn.

Black Chocobos have embarrassingly little HP. This Holy is honestly overkill.

Sleeping things are a Lancer's best friend. They can't move before sleep wears out unless you have horrid timing and they get a damage boost.

Not quite as strong, but still strong. The price to pay for high HP I suppose. She's got at least 130 more than as a Geomancer. Stronger Knightswords will make this moot by being insanely strong and having stuff like Auto-Haste.

But, yeah, without Red Chocobos this battle is a breeze.

Norma picks up Carbuncle, which I'll never use because I like Leviathan and Golem too much.

Reflect can be calculated, which is kinda weird.

And Agrias finally learns teleport.
