Krile's Marceyventure- Episode 4: Fight, Krile bot, for Everlasting Justice!

Hello again all! Marcey here, taking over narration duties for that squeamish narrator I had. Apparently the whole town of people thinking I'm someone else scared him off. It's not like I'm forcing them to do my will, I'm just pretending to be this Marcey dude. It's... complicated. And I can't just stop pretending. I have to keep up the role til it's perfect. Any entertainer would. Speaking of... Mozart, I am INSULTED that you don't consider the art of Mimicry to be true artistry! Why, I could be twice the dancer or bard you ever could! At once! You, me, Carnegie Hall, any time, bucko...

But enough of all that. My exploits continue on, and this week it's a doozy of a trip, since I've finally gotten an airship!

Let's just go take this new baby for a spi-

Uh....

Let's dock for now...

Mid says I need some Adamantite to deal with the whole angry floating city thing.

Luckily, Grandpa's meteorite still has some.

Of course, we're gonna have to deal with the security system, so I prepare myself for my next role.

Getting the Adamantite was easy enough,

But like I said, there's a security system.

The Craziest Claw versus the Adamant Adamantoise!

Current Level: 25
Total Deaths: 0
Form of: Still Cray Claw

The Adamantoise wasn't much more than a wall that hit back, hardly worth adding to my repertoire.
But there was someone that was. An old man I'd run into around Istory.

After making sure I DIDN'T have the Coral ring accidentally auto-equipped, I headed around in the woods, looking to pick a fight.

Cray Claw, The Demented Decapoda versus the Electric Elder, Ramuh!

Current Level: 25
Total Deaths: 0
Form of: Ramuh

That detour finished, I returned the Adamantite to Cid and Mid

Though I don't know how the hell they used it.

Giving the world my best Faris impression, I blasted off to take down the ancient city's defenses.

I suited up for my roll, and then took on the point defense systems.

Three sets of flamethrowers and one set of launchers. Not much to speak of.
Nor was the soul cannon, really.

Ramuh, the Bearded Blaster versus the Slow charging Soul Cannon!

Current Level: 27
Total Deaths: 0
Form of: Soul Man Cannon

With that, we get access into the city.

It is entirely without note until we get to Archeoavis.

I get myself ready for battle.

Get some frankly useless advice from "the King of Tycoon," and fight.

The Soul Crushing Cannon versus the Anemic Archeoavis

Current Level: 28
Total Deaths: 0
Form of: Archeoavis

After the fight, I rushed in to save the last Crystal

But King Tycoon was possessed!

And his daughters wouldn't let me deal with him. I needed a distraction.

So I made one.

Shedding my Marcey disguise, I ran out of the room-

and back in through the hole my Meteorite had caused.

I fired a spell off at the King to take him out of commission.

I also started talking to gramps again. He was getting a little suspicious of me, and hopefully, this will keep him off my trail for a bit. It should also jump start his memories. His amnesia was getting pretty irritating for awhile there.

And, being the genius that I am, I made sure not to hurt the King too badly. What an incident that would be.

Oh, and Fusui, I do all my own stunts. Except when I need to be two places at once.

Sadly, the Earth crystal still got broken.

Which caused this to happen

And this asshole to show up.

After King Tycoon nobly gave his life to save ours, I threw my voice to get everybody ready to get the hell out of dodge, and we hoofed it out of the city in the nick of time. It wasn't easy making it look like "Marcey" was running ahead of me, but I made it work.

Gramps wanted to head back home. I tried to get him to take 'Marcey' and the princess sisters with him, but he refused.

I activated a Krilebot from my meteorite to take care of him while I worked out another way to make it back home.

(Just as soon as I started existing again, that was.)

To that end, I knew I needed Meteorite power, but I was ready.

The Agile Archeoavis versus the Shaken Earthman, Titan!

The Towering Titan versus the Miniscule Manticore!

The Majestic Manticore versus the Pitiful Purobolos

Current Level: 28
Total Deaths: 0
Form of: Still Manticore

With the power of the meteorites, I could make a gateway home, and could travel swiftly, if not with much dignity.

Unfortunately, upon landing, Lenna and Faris got captured, along with my Marcey Disguise. Not too sharp the monsters that grabbed us.

I flagged down a passing ship and got them to take me home, where I managed to replace my Krile bot just in time for a message from Exdeath.

Grandpa insisted on rescuing our friends alone.

But I couldn't let the silly old fool do that. Who knows how hurt he could get if he ran into Exdeath.

We didn't see Exdeath, but we did run into this silly man named Gilgamesh.

The Man Eating Manticore versus the Giggling Gilgamesh!

Current Level: 28
Total deaths: 0
Is it Morphin' Time?: Not just yet

I let Grandpa take the credit for 'saving me' as I snuck back into my Marcey disguise. I don't think anyone noticed he hadn't been moving, but I might need to use a Krilebot for some quick escapes later.

We made out way across the big bridge as I practiced the techniques I knew Gilgamesh was capable of, when he stepped out of a door and revealed himself to us again.

The Grand Gilgamesh versus the Gimpy Gilgamesh!

Total Level: 28
Total Deaths: 2. Both fights came down to the wire like this one, I just didn't land the last spell before he got one last jump off. This time I did.
Morphin'?: Still no.

Unfortunately, we got sent off to the ass end of the world by the barrier coming online. At least I have a Krilebot at home to keep tabs on things til I can get back.

Next time on Krile's Marceyventure: Moogles, Dead Dinosaurs, Angry Grass, Gil, and Gilgamesh!
