Let's Do The Update Again

At last, I complete one of the three main time zones in the game, starting with Mars.

This chapter includes 2 separate puzzles as well as an extended FMV sequence culminating in a bit of an arcade shooter, so lots of variety to be found here!

This chapter also has quite a bit of bonus content. The bonus video is for the complete  Mars Maze  puzzle, which in the LP I heavily edit. I really would only suggest viewing it if you're wanting to see absolutely everything possible about this game, or if you're OCD about seeing all my gameplay. There's a reason I edited it in the LP, and that's because it's pretty dull.

For extra bonus content, here's something you won't find during normal gameplay. I've mentioned both in previous chapters and this one that there are a number of extended sequences in the game that were apparently intended to be interactive, but were made into straight cutscenes for whatever reason.

Here is the death screen for one of them. This takes place during the canyon chase sequence in this chapter. While the sequence I show in the game is completely automated, this suggests that the developers had at least done some work on making it so you're actually in control of your vehicle. I found it by digging around the data files on the disc (the files are hidden and need to be copied to hard disk and changed to be visible, but when they are they're all in Mac .MOV and .PICT formats, easily viewable.)
