Part 11

"It's too bad Edgar got away ... ... but you did get a memory box. Also, based on your conversation with him, this should provide answers to the big questions."

"Leader says, Nanashi, you should also go on the search. It'll be good experience on how to pursue Edgar."

What search?

Watch Cutscenes

If you only watch one of the videos, make this the one.

"But why can't you discuss the content inside this memory box? Let me think about this by myself."

Then we're kicked out of the headquarters. So it was Edgar who was Astronaut E in the logs we've been reading.

"Wh ... what?!"

We can't explain why, because they'll all turn to dust if we do. But why didn't we turn to dust? Edger said that he spent less time on design after Freia and us, so maybe it has something to do with that. He also said that the others are on the verge of collapse, but he didn't specifically say that about us.

"That's sneaky of you. Such an interesting story--why didn't you let me in on the fun?"

"Is my dad safe? He may have disappeared?"

"Because of this I can't enjoy my drink. It's pissing me off! Crud!! ... zzz."

"For real? Oh no! Can this really be? I can't believe it!!! Maybe, just maybe ... I'm going to vanish too!? Maybe that's what's going to happen! I don't want that to happen. I haven't met any cute guys! It's because of that Freia, isn't it? ... that must be it! Then who caused this? What the heck is going on!?"

"But that's of no concern to me--I'm just a guard. That was the order."

What happened with Tsubutaki?

Great analysis.

But we're still missing 02...

"Tetsuya is griping that the officers' orders have ceased."

"All of you have been forgotten by it! It has told me so! Even with that you're still alive?! Blasphemy!"

We've got to talk to Meister again to progress.

First, here's the memory box from the last mission. The one that didn't kill a bunch of our friends.

"It's hard to speak about this here, isn't it? On the surface, there will be no interruptions ... Let's talk there."

"bother us, and we can talk in depth."

Watch Doubt

"To gain trust, let your actions speak for you."

"That way, you can regain their trust."

This translates into Tetsuya having some missions for us.

Sorry about that camera angle.

"in which case you can use the Simulator to clear it. You don't have to start from the very beginning."

"Hahaha. No way. Hanging around you, they'll be suspicious of me, too."

We have to regain the trust of everyone somehow. Right now a bunch of our former partners won't go on missions with us, and other NPCs like Arthur aren't on our side. Ai is the exception in that it's hard to know where we stand with her, given that her role is that of a conpendum of arbitrary facts about the game.

"Add strong skills. I utilize skills--you figure them out. Love and peace!"

"My dad was safe."

"You may laugh that I'm a coward, but that's how I've continued to live. There's nothing wrong with me."

"Everyone is saying things about you, but I don't believe a word. There must be a reason. But this place is where everyone gripes, so you must feel awkward. Times like this, you should lay low. You don't think you've done anything wrong, right? Then everything will work out."

"Some day they'll come back. I'll fully complete the duties assigned to me."

Hierarchy is really damaging.

"I don't handle being an officer very well either, but you want to do something, don't you?"

"As always, it's not going to change."

"Go do what you want."

Tetsuya has two mission for us right now, but there is a more important one back in the clinic.

Tsubutaki's gone, but she wasn't anywhere else in the underground. Where could she have gone?

"In that condition, she won't be resuscitated once she falls ... Please, go help her! I beg you."

Watch Place of Death

"I won't feel obligated toward you. ... what? Not like that ... Let me think about it a while."

"Catalyst needed, I guess?"

I really don't know what Meister is talking about.

It's unknown who 'he' and 'my group' are, but this connection between Tsubutaki and the Three Sisters is something that should be thought about. Could it be referring to the Gyne Sisters as 'our ultimate enemy'? If that's the case, is there more to it?

"I've decided! I'm on your side. Hurry. Make it peaceful again in the underground."

Now there are four missions available to us. Thanks, Tetsuya!

Interesting.

Usually I don't show off arsenals like this, but this is a special case.

we only have four partners to choose from now. Given Sammah's comments in the bar, I imagine we had his support before we saved Tsubutaki. Also note that everyone has new messages for us.

Watch Wall of Limit

Let's Listen to: July 20th, 1975 (Plant)

Plant seems to be a mistranslation of refinery, but this is indeed the song that plays during the stage. Of couse, it plays only barring a boss fight, some other special occurrence, or if you changed in with the music manager. I don't know if the dates in the song titles are at all significant, if you were wondering.

"But I want to do ... something. What should we do?"

This is from Tetsuya.

I modified our second arsenal for this mission.

Watch Crystalization

If this follows the trend for the abriviations of other names in the memories boxes, I'm sure you can get a pretty good guess of who K is.

"about your adventures. I'll pay you well."

Another mission is available at panorama, bringing the total back up to four. This mission was available before we got that memory box, but I wanted to wait until we did for obvious reasons.

Watch Young Writer

Kei doesn't have any dialogue about any of this, by the way.

We've got a lot to digest, so this is a good place to end this episode.
