Part 74: November Cod Crisis: Scandanavian Turn 11

The worst part in SPMBT battles: long, tedious part where you have already crushed your enemy's capability to stop you, but he will still take potshots at you. It's infuriating. It changes nothing - except sometimes in mechanized battles, but they are fought in depth anyways.

So now is that part, apparently. Yay for 7 turns of pretty much nothing happening!

That will segue into this next update (kind of) quite nicely.

November Cod Crisis: Scandanavian Turn 11

There were literally two screencaps I could squeeze out of Sam's recent actions (Whereas I've been choosing 4-6 out of 6-8 for the past several updates).

First of all, I have no idea what Sam. did in his current or a previous life to piss of the Random Number Goddess, but she really, and I mean wholeheartedly has it in for him. His Panzer III Turret unloaded a whole turn's worth of decently accurate (22% - 30%) blows into a single paratrooper section to no avail whatsoever.

These Panzer III Turrets are basically the only targets around that haven't been routed thoroughly, so they should be at least somewhat of a priority now (we've been basically ignoring them by moving along the house/treeline while attacking mobile targets).

Also, this section is fleeing despite not having been attacked this turn. I can't figure that one out.

Other than that, only one thing happened this turn that didn't get a screencap. One of our PT boats and one of the Panzer III Turrets exchanged fire this turn. Actually, they've been doing that for the past five or so turns, but it was never deemed to be of adequate significance.

I would imagine that Sam. is basically at the end of his rope at this point (losing both of his tanks probably constitutes a bad enough loss on its own, never mind the several platoons worth of infantry that went down with them), so I will now be accepting proposals to ask for a surrender, if people want me to.

Otherwise, I will be accepting orders, comments, suggestions and dumb jokes as per usual.
