Medals earned:

Earned for completing the mission.

Earned for completing the various secondary objectives.

Earned for completing the French campaign.

New units commanded:

quote:

NATO medium tank - Chieftain Mk5: This British tank was, when introduced, one of the most technically advanced tanks in the world, but did not find any wider adoption among NATO countries. Like the M60 and T-62, by 1989 the Chieftain is somewhat outdated, but still a capable support vehicle for the more modern MBTs. It's equipped with white phosphorus for anti-infantry duty.

quote:

NATO scout helicopter - BO-105 PAH1: This German utility helicopter is a widely produced and very popular model, and it has seen and still sees wide use in a variety of roles in many nations. As the name suggests, it's best used for fast recon. It's equipped with unguided rockets that can harass the enemy, but the light armour means that you want to keep it far away from anything that can shoot back.

The main selling point of the scout helicopter is the IR-scanning equipment mounted in it. This allows you to spot enemy infantry hiding inside buildings and forests.

quote:

NATO light transport - D90: The Land Rover Defender is an ubiquitous utility vehicle, used for both civilan and military purposes. It can transport a single squad of infantry, provide light repairs, or engage infantry with its mounted MG.

Quick and dirty:

Hello

Hello Colette, it's Jean

Jean! You bastard You were going to call me two days ago! I thought you were dead.

Never my love, I promise. Is everything okay?

There was another air raid yesterday. There's power outages all the time.

Damn Soviets. But we'll soon be rid of them. We've made a lot of progress with the Americans.

So you won?

Oh yes. That American colonel, he's a real bastard, and his batallion is crazy but it works.

I dreamt you'd died. I woke up crying.

Please, don't worry, my love. I'll be home soon. We'll sit and talk on the balcony until the sun sets and afterwards...we'll see.

You'll go back to your wife?

Oh, c'mon, my wife's worse than the reds. I'll take care of that as well.

Be careful, okay?

Don't worry. We're fighting again tomorrow, but I'll call you as soon as it's over. I love you, darling.
