Are you looking for a faster Dark Knight with lower HP? Stronger Thief with lower HP? This is your class! The Ninja is sort of a middle ground between those two job, lacking the Dark Knight's ability to use swords or heavy armour and the Thief's ability to have a ton of job levels behind it by the time you get to the Earth Crystal. Throw is, admittedly, one of the better unique attacks as it ignores Defense and row (I believe), but it's also an expensive one to keep stocked for (plus the throwing shit store is way out of the way, so you're probably not going to go twice). Still, not a bad way to deal with bosses.

The Ninja really doesn't stand out with its stats; Agility is high, but Strength is only slightly above average (Throw ignores Strength, as well, though - it's strictly Attack and Job Level, so you'll have to do some grinding if you want to make it better). The Ninja has very high Agility, enough to essentially put it on an even keel with the Thief if you throw some equipment boosts on top. Ninja is a good job, if you're willing to put some Job Level grinding into it and sink a bunch of gil into Throw. If you're not, though, leave 'em behind, because they're not going to stand out in comparison to other physical classes without it.
