Myth II: Soulblighter

by Sevron

Part 22: Relic

Sunday, April 19, Forest Heart

The action goes back to the faceless Narrator, as a small detachment of the Legion heads South to Forest Heart. This is pretty much where we started the game. I can’t prove it, but I think this is another nod to the idea in the game about things being cyclical. Somehow, we have Heron Guard, even though the Narrator claimed to have left before the Legion went into the crypt and came up with the Ibis Crown. Perhaps the deathless Heron Guard are also the sleepless Heron Guard, and were able to catch up with us.

As a fun little bonus, this is the first time we’ve been able to control The Deceiver. His special move is Binding Dream, which makes an enemy unit into a friendly unit, as long as it isn’t undead. His main attack is different than Alric’s, as it too is magic. I want to say it was called Withering Dream, and although it only targets one unit at a time, it does fairly quick damage over time and cannot be interrupted.

Let's look at the scoreboard:
Kills Over Time
Total Kills by Unit

I gave The Deceiver credit for the kills his converts put up.
