Part 19: The Great Seal

Last time on Tales of Eternia

The second trial showed us memories from Keele's past

The third trial showed us Shizel, being betrayed by her people and then taking in a dark power in order to protect the people she loves.

We blasted the Dark Matter with our craymel cannon. It backfired spectacularly. We're gonna need a bigger gun.

Which leads us to

Part 1 (The Inferians): [YOUTUBE] (~16 minutes)
Part 2 (Regulus Knoll): [YOUTUBE] (~20 minutes)

We're saved! Also the Inferians have arrived and are attacking they craymel cannon at Balir's castle! And Hyades is there to ruin our day as well! Why, between the Inferian army and that golbin, it's a reuinion of people who are dumb!

Bonus: Hyades live, also Rem live as well

Boss Time!!

I said it in the video, but Rem is one of the hardest fights in the game. She flies, shoots light beams, has some solid spells, regenerating health, and has an asshole invincible balls there just to fuck with you. If someone tells you that Rem is easy to beat, they are LYING LIARS!!

Initially, Rem's strategy is to float around, manipulating the Asshole Ball and firing beams. She'll switch between flying low and shooting them forward through your group, or flying high and shooting them at an angle. She can also fly really high and fire them straight down, but that can only hurt you if you're in her face. The ball will float in place and bounce people back when they touch it - occasionally she'll reposition it too so it's a huge problem that you can't do anything about.

Her spells aren't too shabby either. When she starts casting, she will surround herself with a beam of light that deflects your party members. The beam does NOT make her invulnerable, you CAN hit her through the beam with some difficulty, and your magic can still interrupt her spells just fine. As for spells, she's packing Ray which hits a large area, Holy Lance which obliterates one of your team if it lands fully (although it can't hit a moving target), and a unique spell called Shining Flare, which will create walls of fire that close in on the target's position. Anybody standing in the center of those walls will be unharmed, but anyone around that area will bump up against them and get hurt pretty badly.

If you took the time to defeat Shadow, Dark Force will help you a whole lot. For Reid, equip your best Shadow-based weapon, or the Ninja Sword if you found it. It's in an underwater cache in Inferia.

Defeating Rem will allow you to summon her. Her summon will heal everyone in the party fully, including KO'd members (Undine only heals the ones who are still standing). And since we're here, FRINGE???

On her own, Rem will bestow you with the spell Ray. A shining light flies around the target area, firing large light beams all over the place. It's a very reliable spell.

20 1 Restore is the best healing spell in the game. It marks a huge glyph on the ground and restores a massive amount of HP to all allies in the glyph. Also, allies in the glyph cannot be hit with enemy attacks while it's doing its business. I don't know if that's a glitch or not, but I love it.

10 10 +Medical Plus is a passive boost that increases the power of healing spells. Not bad I guess, but there's not much point since Restore does so much damage already.

15 20 Holy Bliss is a buff spell that will regenerate your health. When you get hit, your HP will recover until that hit is healed. The idea is that if you get his multiple times, it will only heal the last one. I usually keep Efreet and Rem in the same cage, but it might be worth it to forego Explode and move Efreet over so that you get this spell instead.

10 10 +Life Rescue is another passive boost that regenerates your health when you're in critical condition. If you drop below 1/16 of your max HP, it will gradually heal you until you reach that much.

15 10 Volt and Rem will create Indignation, the most famous spell in Tales series history. Indignation will pan the camera up to dark clouds and mark a large area on the ground. A few seconds later, that area will be struck with divine lightning, doing a shitload of damage. The area hit is actually a bit larger than the mark, so the blast is surprisingly huge.

10 10 +Health is another passive buff that heals people. This one gives you 8% of your health back every time you dispatch an enemy. It's like wearing a heal bracelet all the time!

Celsius does not fringe with Rem. Sad Celsius, denied from BOTH governing craymels.
