About the Game

Yoshi's Crafted World is the 2019 Switch follow up to Yoshi's Woolly World on the Wii U. Following the "Yoshi" series of games that started all the way back with Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island back on the Snes, the game challenges you to take the amazing technicoloured dinosaur buddies through a myriad of levels and worlds, collecting coins, flowers and hearts along the way.

The game is a side-scrolling platformer where 3D characters are moved on a 2.5D plane. The player is also able to move and interact in a 3rd dimension, with travel forwards and backwards enabled in sections of levels, and the ability to throw eggs at scenery and other elements of the foreground and background.Outside of this new mechanic, the game plays similar to prior Yoshi games, where the player may use Yoshi's tongue to eat enemies or other objects, turn them into eggs, and throw them outwardly into the level.

The plot is the usual fare for a game like this, Baby Bowser and Kamek want magical macguffins that get scattered to the corners of the earth when the game begins leaving it to our noble Yoshis to find them before the bad guys do and stop their nefarious plans.

About the LP

The LP is a solo blind LP by myself, Natural20. It's very much aimed to be a much more chilled out LP than my usual fare with my comrade Yorkshire Tea, focused broadly around me chatting about weird things I've thought of over the week while I play a game that honestly isn't too mentally taxing.

So if you're in for a podcast style LP then this is very much your kind of deal and if you're just up for seeing the game with hopefully minimal interference from commentary then this is probably up your alley as well.

Episodes will release on Tuesday and Thursday at 11pm London time, which is 6pm in the on the East Coast of the US. And with that being said, I hope you enjoy the LP!
