Part 26: Pokémon League is a triple-threat in Pokémon, Wrestling, and Song for 7/18

Music: Pokémon Gym (Heart Gold/Soul Silver)

Choro Notes: Pastoria Gym's gimmick is it's a really easy water-level puzzle.

Press yellow button. . .

. . . Water level lowers!

WATERBENDER.

Oh, catfish. Nevermind, nothing interesting here folks. Go back to your business.

"We gotses fishermen and kids with innatubes. It's great!"

What will Lyudmila do indee—oh I know!

Choro Notes: You really can't mess up this gym's puzzle. Find button, push button, continue. That's it.

IMPOSSIBLE.

Man, that's not even a water-type.

See?

Ok, that's a water-type.

Easy peasy.

It's why I use an octopus tank!

Pahaha, loser.

Oooh, someone's a little sore they got wrecked by the best~.

ENOUGH CRAP. MAIN EVENT.

Yes sir!

Music: Hoenn Gym Leader Battle (Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald)

Choro Notes: Crasher Wake
Crasher Wake is pretty much the best gym leader ever. Nothing really to say about his strategy, just look at that bitchin' mask! His name is Maximum Mask in japan if that matters at all! For lucha libre action, in Spanish language games his name is Mananti el destructor.

Oh, it IS a good idea to open with an electric-type move-knower, though! Just watch out because he does like to switch out if he knows something's coming.

Waterfall is a physical attack in Gen4, this means this will hurt like a bitch!

Set up! Now to finish it in one nice shot:

Hahahahaha! :D

ROUND 2!

Praise~

W-what a turnaround!
Choro Notes: Torterra is cripplingly weak to Ice due to both of its types being weak to it. A stiff Icy Wind can ruin their day.

Alright, bet you can't Ice Fang this!

Aaa! Several fangs!

Taking aim. . .

GOTCHA.

Oh fff.

Sure is interesting after all!

Oh were you hoping for a KO?

Choro Notes: This is actually a good example of how much Sniper boosts Lyudmila's hits. Compare to this which was done on the same floatzel at full HP with the same move:

Aghghaghghghhhhhhh. It's only fair when I do that!

Hmmmpphhhhh

Crap.

FINE THEN.

Heh heh.

Yeah, that undertow's a bitch.

HELL YES. ME AND CRASHER WAKE ARE FRIENDS NOW.

. . . I don't know Surf.

Choro Notes: Brine powers up if the target has lost 50% or more of their HP.

Freakin' score. I'm the best trainer with five badges ever.
